A restored chörten base within the Tabo Choskhor contains some of the most interesting early paintings of Tabo which have remained unpublished. It is the earliest monument of Tabo with Nyingma topics, such as the five esoteric Buddhas in embrace, Padmasambhava and Vajrakīlaya. Sadly it is too fragmentary to be reconstructed, and its interesting teacher depictions cannot yet be explained. The images are arranged from the left side wall clockwise.
