Three Structural Units
The three structural units of the Main Temple are clearly differentiated: the small Entry Hall in the East is followed by a spacious Assembly Hall and a Cella surrounded by an Ambulatory. The plan also shows the placement of the two groups of clay sculptures found in the Tabo Main Temple, the earlier Cella group (IV; see ◊ Cella Sculptures gallery) and the mandala sculptures in the Assembly Hall (V and 1-32; see ◊ Mandala Sculptures gallery).
